Description:
Michael Jackson’s This Is It (or just called This Is It) is a 2009 American both documentary and concert film[7] directed by Kenny Ortega that documents Michael Jackson’s rehearsals and preparation for the concert series of the same name scheduled to start on July 13, 2009, but canceled due to his death eighteen days prior on June 25. The film is now the highest grossing concert movie and documentary in the history of cinema.
The film consists of Jackson rehearsing musical numbers and directing his team, and additional behind the scenes footage including dancer auditions and costume design. The film’s director Kenny Ortega confirmed that none of this footage was originally intended for release, but after Jackson’s death it was agreed that the film be made for his fans. Ortega dedicated the film to Jackson’s three children. The footage was filmed at both the Staples Center arena and The Forum in Los Angeles, California. Despite originally being set for October 30, the film’s release date was rescheduled for October 28, 2009 due to a strong demand by Jackson’s fans. The film was given a wide worldwide release and a limited two-week theatrical run from October 28, to November 12, 2009. Tickets went on sale a month early on September 27, 2009, to satisfy a high anticipated demand; to date, the film has broken numerous records via tickets both pre-sale and sales worldwide.

Americans generally like to hear good news. THey like to believe that a new president will right old wrongs, that clean energy will replace dirty oil and that fresh thinking will set the economy straight. American pundits tend to restrain their pessimism and hope for the best. But is anyone prepared for the worst?
Meet Michael Ruppert, a different kind of American. A former Lost Angeles police officer turned independent reporter, he predicted the current finacial crisis in his self-published newsletter. From the Wilderness, at a time when most Wall Street and Washington analysts were still in denial. Director Chris Smith has shown an affinity for outsiders in films like American Movie and The Yes Men. In Collapse, he departs stylistically from his past documentaries by interviewing Ruppert in a format that recalls the work of Errol Morris and Spalding Gray.

Description:
In 2001 the BBC broadcast The Blue Planet, a landmark series on the natural history of the world’s oceans. It received critical acclaim, high viewing figures and audience appreciation ratings and a string of awards. It also became a hugely profitable global brand, eventually being sold to 150 countries worldwide. Feedback showed that audiences particularly liked the epic scale, the scenes of new and unusual species and the cinematic quality of the series. Programme commissioners were keen for a follow-up, so Alastair Fothergill decided that the Natural History Unit should repeat the formula with a series looking at the whole planet. The idea for Planet Earth was born, and the series was commissioned by Lorraine Heggessey, then Controller of BBC One, in January 2002.
A feature film version of Planet Earth was commissioned alongside the television series, repeating the successful model established with The Blue Planet and its companion film Deep Blue. Earth was released around the world from 2007 to 2009. There was also another accompanying television series, Planet Earth: The Future, which looked at the environmental problems facing some of the species and habitats featured in the main series in more detail.

Description:
The film concentrates on the activities of Alex Jones, Jim Tucker, Jack McLamb, Luke Rudkowski, and Timuçin Leflef, with particular focus on their efforts to expose the highly secretive meetings of the Bilderberg Group, promotion of the 9/11 Truth Movement, and opposition to the erosion of traditional American, Constitutionally-based civil and political rights and liberties. In an interview with Oxford Film Freak, Luke Meyer said he and partner Andrew Neel decided to make the documentary because, “I have always been interested in people who refuse to accept the standard belief systems, who do what they want or what they feel they have to regardless of what other people think.” Neel added, “I thought conspiracy theorists were interesting because they see the world in a very different way… I wanted to know what it was like to be one of them.” The film contains archival footage of then-President George W. Bush, then-Senator (now Vice President) Joe Biden, Senator John McCain, and former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski. It also includes appearances by Jim Marrs and Geraldo Rivera.
